Nu Shu: The Secret Language of Women
Writing can be a liberating and empowering process, lifting historically oppressed voices. Join us on Saturday, March 27 at 7:00 PM for an exploration of Nu Shu (女書), a script created by and for women centuries ago. During this guided exploration of Nu Shu, we will learn more about the script and how it arose out of denied educational opportunities and forced social isolation for peasant women.
