Date:  Tuesday, May 24, 2022

Time: 6:00PM - 7:00PM

Location:  San Carlos Adult Community Center - Parkview Room, 601 Chestnut Street, San Carlos, CA 94070

Event Synopsis

The Community Foundation of San Carlos in partnership with One Life Counseling Center will host a community awareness panel discussion  to bring together public figures, experts and members of the community to discuss the stigma associated with mental health, and the implications of mental health on our body.

The evening would begin with light food and drink for members of the community to arrive and get comfortable for the evening's events. It will start with a brief presentation by a mental health professional to describe important issues and topics related to this discussion for the purpose of giving the evening a “heading”.  Following the presentation, our panelists will field questions from the audience about mental health, the stigma around it, benefits or risks to it, and the importance of mental health to our mind and body. After a period of discussion, we will conclude the evening with light socializing.
