UAH Week 2024: Community Conversation & Dinner
You’re invited to a community supper to talk about “Inclusion.” For the last several years, the Foundation has presented programs during the nationwide campaign “United Against Hate.”
This year after listening to San Carlos residents and leaders, the issue of bullying arose as one of particular concern, especially (but not limited) to our youth. In response, the Foundation has adopted the theme of “Inclusion,” as this year’s focus during September 22-28.
During the week we will sponsor workshops for our youth and parents, collaborate with local businesses, and partner with other San Carlos groups to raise awareness about bullying. But first, we want to give residents of our community a chance to gather, share a meal, and share their stories about being included - - or excluded.
